I am a wife, mom, and high school science teacher in the Midwest.  I currently teach Integrated Science, Honors Chemistry, and AP Chemistry at Highland High School in Highland, IL.  

I received my B.S. in Biology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  I earned my teaching certificate while taking graduate level chemistry classes and pursuing my M.S. Ed in Instructional Technology at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.  I became National Board Certified in AYA Science in 2004, and completed recertification in 2013.  

When not teaching, I enjoy gardening, cooking, and spending time with my husband and three kids.
